Openfire with MYSQL Install Tutorial
This is basically an improvement on the original article provided to Ben's Elastix with Tears. The original article used the embedded database (HSSQL) which is a simple database. However, a minor bug meant that Linux Newbies had to do some code correction before being able to use. Furthermore the MYSQL database product is already used in Elastix, so we have upgraded the Tutorial to use the MYSQL database instead which doesn't require code correction.
Openfire is a XMPP Server (basically known as a Jabber Server), and allows for a large range of clients to provide Instant Messaging and Presence Services.
